FLEX is a Northern Colorado regional bus route serving stops between Fort Collins, Loveland, Berthoud, Longmont, and Boulder. This service is operated by Transfort and is made possible through regional partnerships.
Transfers to the RTD bus system are available in Longmont and Boulder.
Enjoy a one seat express ride from Fort Collins to Boulder with five trips each weekday, two in the morning and three in the afternoon/early evening. Boulder Express services the following limited stops:
Covid Update: All fares are temporarily suspended.
All buses have lifts or ramps, and are fully wheelchair accessible.
A one-way trip takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
Because of an agreement between RTD and Transfort, within Boulder County (Longmont and Boulder) and the RTD service area, passengers may only de-board Transfort FLEX at southbound stops and only board Transfort FLEX on northbound stops.
FLEX is the best option for passengers commuting from Longmont to Fort Collins.
RTD (BOLT) is the best option for passengers commuting from Longmont to Boulder.
RTD is the best option for trips from Longmont to Denver.

All FLEX buses can accommodate three bikes secured on the front bike rack. Bikes are NOT allowed inside any FLEX buses.
